Utah/Ty's wedding/Adams fam/Thanksgiving!!!

We went to Utah for the week of Thanksgiving. Adams parents flew in from Georgia for Ty's wedding which made us SO happy! We got to all go to Ty and Cami's sealing. I had never been to another sealing other than my own. I loved it! I could actually focus on what was being said since I wasn't so nervous this time around. Ty and Cami look great together!

So do Adam and I! :) Us in front of the Salt Lake Temple.

Denise and Les...Adam's sweet parents.
Best friends all grown up. Ty and Adam with Ty's mom at the reception in the Joseph Smith Building. Very beautiful!

We figured we wouldn't be seeing too much more of the Salt Lake Temple so we decided to take one last picture. Isn't it so beautiful? We had a great time in Utah, spending time with Adams family. It was very relaxing and nice to be out of the Rexburg scene. My parents also came to visit for Thanksgiving! I forgot I had a camera the entire time they were in town (hence why there are no pictures of them or Thanksgiving). We had so much fun. The girls went shopping and played around (my mother and I can do nothing and still keep each other entertained all day) while the boys watched football...including the BYU vs Utah came. Thanks Amanda for getting tickets! Adam hasn't stopped doing the cougar growl since he has left that game. It's very strange.

Adam rules!

So for those of you who don't know it...Adam got accepted into Georgia State! All of his credits that he needed to transfer did indeed transfer. He registered for classes a couple of days ago. I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard to get excellent grades and really learn in all of his classes so that he will be able to provide for our family in the future. We are getting kicked out of our apartment at the end of this month and are staying with my boss' family till December 14, then we will get on the road and head back to Georgia where we will finally stay! It is kind of bitter sweet to say goodbye to Rexburg forever (way more sweet though) because we will miss our close friends who we will probably either never see again or not for a very long time. It's crazy to think the life we had here will be just a memory. It's also very exciting to think about being out of the mormon college town where you must be awesome if you make $6 an hour and into the real world where we have so many opportunities. We are really looking forward to the change...and being close to our families!!!

17 weeks...

So, Here I am at 17 weeks in the pretty maternity dress my mother got for me (Thanks, Mom! You're so sweet!). My belly is going rapidly and so is our baby!
We had a doctor appointment today and everything was great. I have gained 7 lbs since the begginning of the pregnancy and I only need to gain 3 more lbs in 3 weeks. The baby's heart was pumping great, it had legs and arms and a cute lil' face (as you can see below). Tragically, I don't have a scanner so yes, you will be seeing a picture of a picture. So far the nose is looking good...haha we are hoping that it will miss out on the Wallace nose and inherit the cute Rogers nose instead. I don't remember all of the babies measurements but, everything was totally normal and exactly on track for the due date of april 14. BEST OF ALL....the doc said it looked like a 75% chance that we are having a GIRL!! woohoo. Ok, so it's not for certain. We will know for certain Decemeber 17....until then, I'm counting on a girl!

Asking Adam to preference!

Soooooooo...My dear friend, Joelle, and I decided we were going to act like freshmen girls again and ask our husbands to preference (the girls ask boys dance on campus). We have been planning our fantastic suprise for a couple of weeks...getting our girlfriends to also ask their husbands and trying to figure out some creative way to ask our men. Tonight Joelle and I picked up tons of candy and each came up with different candy statements to ask. I put mine on the front door so right when Adam came up the stairs he would laugh. It took him like 20 mins to actually say yes!! BUT he said YES!!! Haha we are going to be dancing the night away next Saturday night! I am just so excited.
