I'm in love.

Hi everyone. It's Megan again. I just wanted to thank everyone for their sweet comments and phone calls. I promise I will get back to all of you soon, especially Erica, Rebecca, and Jess who are all probably feeling seriously ignored. Everything is going great. Carson is the sweetest little thing and even though I feel like I might just fall over and die...I cannot get enough of him. I promise I will post my version of labor and delivery soon. Love you guys.

The first night

The first night went pretty good mainly because I was asleep the whole time...haha Unfortunately the nurses kept waking Megan and the baby up to check up on them when really both of them just wanted to rest. Carson sleeps great but people alwaays want to poke him and put cold metal objects on his body and he doesnt seem to like that very much. Anyway things are going great. Megan is not answering her phone because she is busy feeding the baby, resting, or eating. We appreciate everyone's support and we will get in touch with everyone soon.

He's here!

Carson was born at 8:09pm and it was a regular birth. Megan did so good and was motivated by the fear of having a c-section. He weighs 7lbs 13 ounces and is 19 inches long. Megan is doing great but is really tired and so is Carson.

eight is great.

Megan has now been updated to an eight but unfortunately the head has not decended enough so we have to wait another hour to see what happens. we should knwo at 6:30 if Meg will need a C-section or not.

Megan is still in labor and is only a five after 9 hours of labor.

Relief

Megan received her epidural and is feeling much better. she will be checked soon to see how far akong she is

Hey everyone this is Adam and We wanted to let everyone know that Megan is in the hospital and having her baby. Her water broke this morning at 6:30 am and we got to the hospital around 8 am. Megan is feeling very sick but she is progressing along. I would add pictures but unfortunately i dont know how to do anything pertaining to blogging...

39 weeks and angry.

This morning I finally got checked at my doctors appointment. NOTHING! I could have cried. As I was making my 40 week appointment the receptionist said she hopes she doesn't see me next week. The feeling is so mutual. My doctor told me that he would probably induce me on the 18th if I haven't gone into labor naturally by my due date (the 14th). I complained, of course, because he wouldn't do it any sooner and he told me I was lucky he was offering only 4 days after my due date with my first child. He said most doctors wouldn't touch me that soon. Meh. The moral here is....pray that I go into labor soon.

My sister is so funny!
