Christmas Morning
Carson decorating the tree.
Reading the Christmas story in our bed before we head downstairs.I made a "wall" for Carson to bust through to add to the excitement.
Carson, seeing his boat that he had told everyone Santa was getting him for Christmas. Luckily, we found one the day before.
He was so excited! He said, "SEE! I told you Santa would get me a boat!"
I love their cute faces when they first see their goodies.
Allie stole her doll's pacifier.
So excited about his backpack. He pretty much hasn't taken it off since.
Cool guy.
I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!
Thanksgiving in Chiefland
You haven't lived if you haven't been to Chiefland, FL. We got to spend Thanksgiving with Adam's family there. It was beautiful (and a little bit crazy)! Carson thought he had died and it went to heaven. I am pretty sure Thanksgiving day was the best day of his life so far. He had everyone's attention, a foam disk gun, dogs and cats, and he even got to ride a horse! The child was absolutely wild the whole day, loving his life.
Carson and Allie exploring Aunt Christi's beautiful property. Our family with Nana, eating our Thanksgiving feast.
Hailey, Christi, and Lynn.
Papa.
The giant, delicious feast.
Carson chased and fed this dog the food he was supposed to be eating all day.
Adam, his cousins, our kids, and Nana.
All of us.
Sleepy baby. She finally fell asleep while Denise walked around with her.
Us with Nana (Adam's grandma).
Les' chair sunk into the ground and broke. It was kind of funny :)
Sweet Whitney took Carson on a horse ride. I thought he would be scared, but he LOVED it! He was smiling the whole time, even when the horse was jogging.
We had such a fabulous time! Thank you Christi for opening your home to us. It was so fun staying with you and getting to know you better. And thank you Gina for hosting such a fun and delicious Thanksgiving. And for going out with Denise and I to Walmart that night...that was wild fun, but let's never do that again.
Hope to see you all again soon!
