Carson was a little more than wild when Allie came home with us. He is madly in love with her and would smother her with hugs and kisses if I wasn't there to keep things under control. He has been perfect with her, but a little aggressive doing anything to get our attention. Both Carson and Adam and I have adjusted a lot more to our new lives with a new baby. Things are still pretty crazy, but everyone is happy.

Allie had her one month appointment today. I didn't think she had grown very much because she still looks so little to me, but she had.
She was born at 7 lbs 5 oz.
Left the hospital at 6 lbs. 11 oz.
1 week appointment was 7 lbs 6 oz.
AND
1 month appointment:
9 lbs. 10 oz. 70%
23 1/4 in. Above 95 %
Head circumference 90%

Our tiny little baby girl is getting big in a hurry. The doctor said she has been gaining an ounce a day. Crazy! And we are crazy about her! She is so precious.

We drove to Chicago for Thanksgiving to be with the Meyer family and my in-laws. Their home was so beautiful and they were fabulous hosts with the sweetest kids.

Dinner was delicious! I don't think we have eaten that good in a very long time. Carson, of course, only ate rolls. A couple days later I was able to get him to eat some turkey which he seemed to like, but I had to tell him it was chicken :)

The kids table. There was paper and markers for the kids to use while eating. Carson and Olivia opted to color on orange eyebrows on their faces instead. Adorable, right?

The boys and the babies watching football, I believe.

The grandparents and all their grandkids minus Aiwyn, who we missed so much.

Carson seriously had not been so happy since Allie has been born playing with Ben and Olivia. He had so much fun!!! Ben and Olivia were really patient and sweet with him. Carson and Olivia were inseparable the entire time (sometimes to Olivia's dismay). I realized I have got to get Carson some friends to play with often. He had the best time and has been asking about "his friends" often since we got home.

The kids watched 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' while eating popcorn with each other. It was a pretty cute sight.

Isn't Will (below) such a doll? I'm obsessed with him and he only began to like me the last day we were there. Tragic.

Thank you, Meyer family and Denise and Les for such a wonderful holiday! We love and miss all of you!
