Birthday and Belly

Yesterday was my 25th birthday! Even though I was feeling pretty sick most of the day, Adam did a great job making me feel special. Carson did average. He ran into my room early in the morning with a 12 pack of toilet paper, threw it up on me, and yelled "happy birthday!" How special.
In other news, can you see my big ole' belly? I realize my arm is in the way and I'm sitting so this isn't the best picture to get the full view of my pregnant self, but you get the idea. Today we finally had an ultrasound.......
IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!

Fun trip to mall.

It gets really stinking hot here so instead of braving the intense heat, we decided to go play at the mall playground. Adam and Carson played there for about an hour while I walked around the mall and then Adam took Carson on one of those trains that goes around the mall. He called me while they were on the ride and I could hear Carson in the background yelling very loudly with excitement. Adam said he was saying hi to everyone they passed and shouting "chooo choooo, train!!" every time the conductor tooted the horn. After the ride, Adam had to chase Carson who was chasing the train all around the mall. After I got tired of walking around the mall, I met Adam and Carson back at the playground that had a merry-go-round. Carson and I had never been on one. My parents had me convinced it was like $10 a person for a ride when I was a child and never allowed us to go on. It cost us $2 total for both of us!!! WHAT?? I missed out my whole life!! Carson was a little scared at first, but then he got into it.
See how excited we are??
We told Carson to show us the horse stamp they gave him after the ride. This is what we got. :)

Feeding Animals.

Near the lake, there are several places where you can go feed some animals. We brought packages of carrots and celery and fed this guy and some buffalo. They are some seriously nasty animals, but Carson thought it was the best thing ever.

"My baby, Fletcher."

Caitlin and Fletcher came to visit us last week while Griffin went clubbin' with the ladies in Spain. Griffin later regretted his decision when he realized the club was really at our crib.
I am pretty sure Carson thinks Fletcher is literally his baby. He has ran into our guest/future baby room almost daily since they left asking, "Where's my baby, Fletcher?" I think Carson is going to be a great big brother. He was loving on Fletcher all week. Aren't these pictures so sweet?
Come back soon, little boy. And bring my baby's mama (and daddy too, I guess).

Oh by the way...

My phone is dead and has been dead for over a week. I think my new one will be here on Tuesday. My mom is giving me her old phone and she said once it was activated, text messages starting coming in like crazy. So, I'm sorry if you have been missing me. We will catch up soon. Ha :)

Toy Story 3

Last week, we took Carson to see Toy Story 3. This was his first time seeing a movie in theaters. Actually, he has probably only seen an entire movie two or three times at home so I didn't really know what to expect.
He didn't like the previews. A couple of them were a little scary for him, but when Toy Story came on he got real excited yelling, "the toys!!"
He ate about half a bag of popcorn all by himself and loved the entire movie, cheering on the toys when they did anything exciting. He didn't like the claw at the end. He hid his head in Adam's shirt and kept saying, "scary robot." We have no idea where he learned about robots and why he thinks they are scary, but anything metal and creepy is a 'scary robot' now and he fears they are under mine and Adam's bed. Crazy kid.
Carson is crazy about driving so after the movie he ran straight to this race car game. Luckily, he doesn't realize it's actually a game and just enjoyed spinning the steering wheel and changing the gears.
Carson and Adam after the movie. Super fun.
OH! And I took an at home gender test since we are waiting till our insurance becomes effective to get my ultrasound. It claims to be 90% accurate so we aren't entirely sure, but........
IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
We should know for sure in a week or so. We will let you know. He (could be she) is kicking like crazy. It is still pretty adorable and pleasant since it hasn't been waking me up yet. :)
