Christmas at the Rogers

We celebrated Christmas a day early in our home so we could relax together the entire day and then not rush our time with the grandparents the next day. Christmas was so fun this year! Carson was so excited for two days straight. Seriously. This is the first time I have seen him love toys and BOY does he love his toys this year. He has been overwhelmed with all the new fun things in our home. Thanks to both of our families for spoiling Carson rotten. He is a busy, busy bee now. Enjoy our pictures.
Our stockings.
Our mini tree...cute, right?Adam and I woke Carson up while singing 'Jingle Bells.' I am pretty sure Carson has never been happier to wake up early. He couldn't wait to get to the family room.
He first ran to his new washer machine then decided to check out a couple presents.
Carson lost interest in everything once he found his Yogurt Melts in his stocking. He loves those things!
A new toothbrush.
Checking out all his goodies.
Some gum for that stank breath. Yep, I said stank.
I got Adam a Gators Snuggie. Now he can wear this sexy dress while rooting for his team.
I guess I like it, too. Go gators!

We had a great Christmas! Thank you to both our families for delicious meals, perfect presents, and lots of love. We love you.
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas as well. We are so thankful that Christ was born on this earth to live and die for us. Merry Christmas!

Going private...

I just decided to go private. I actually hate private blogs. They get on my nerves and I forget to read them, but I figured not too many people read this blog anymore anyways. I have been getting freaky creepy comments like this one,
"I hate kids"
Nice. People can be so tender, yes?
On that note, I am a major blog stalker so don't be ashamed if you know me from your brothers mothers friends aunt's cousin and still want to read my blog.
Just leave your e-mails in a comment or e-mail me at:
meganandadamrogers at gmail dot com

And don't assume I have your e-mail already because I don't.
Going private in January.

Oh. And Carson is well. He has been real sweet lately, giving kisses and hugs. He just wants to hug babies/kids until he is sure they love him back. We are so excited for Christmas, as this is the first year we can attempt to explain to Carson why we celebrate Christmas and I think he will enjoy his goodies under the tree.

Happy Halloweenie!

While at Trader Joes one night, Carson discovered pumpkins. The child had a panic attack with excitement. "Ball, ball, ball." Once we told him they were pumpkins, he has constantly repeated, "Pum-kin, pum-kin, pum-kin." Well, we got him one. Every morning the first thing he wants to see is his pumpkin. He was so thrilled to dig into that pumpkin. Enjoy!

The wee one is married!

My little brother, Grant, got married! Both my sisters and baby Tessa came to town so it was a very exciting event.
Amanda helped Grant practice his after marriage dance moves.
Here comes the bride...
Walking away together as husband and wife.
Grant and Adrianna.
The Wallace side of the family.
Sexy and sassy.
Sketchy boys.
Graham bit and ate part of his plastic cup that night. It was awesome.
This went to...
that pretty fast.
Actual sisters.
As you can see, baby Tessa was obsessed with us.
First dance.
Carson and Grandma got mad dancing skills.
Mmm...cake and cupcakes.

...The End.

Oh you thought we were dead??

We live on. I know we have been majorly anti-social. You know how I get during big events in my life. We finally moved into an apartment!! It has been an adjustment (mostly for Carson), but we love it and are super happy. We feel blessed to finally have our own place and to both of our parents, and Caitlin and Griffin who helped us move in.
Here is a few pictures for you:
Graham and Carson swinging-these are really old.

Don't worry. Our apartment doesn't look too much like this anymore.
Home sweet home.

Key West in a nutshell.

Last week, we got to spend with Rick, Susan, Ben, and Olivia in Key West! I can't speak for them, but Adam, Carson, and myself had an amazing time. I could not get enough of their cute kiddos. It was so fantastic to see the Meyer family again. I miss them already. I can't wait till I can see you guys again!
The grown up versions of Olivia and Ben.
The grown up versions of Megan and Adam.
It wouldn't be Key West without random chickens everywhere.
Ben and Rick at the Sunset Party.
That's my man!!!
Cute cousins waiting for the Cat Man to start his performance at the Sunset Party.
The creepy Cat Man with OSSSCAAARRR! Show your fangs!!
Oh that's just Star Trooper looking for a beer.
Carson and I at the pretty beach attached to our hotel.
Carson loved playing in the ocean with Adam. He would pick up rocks and throw them in the water until a wave came and ate Carson up.
Olivia discovers Adam's sand castle.
Olivia, the destroyer.
Now, that is what a real Cuban looks like.
Susan, feeding Carson an entire bag of animal crackers.
Ben and Olivia spent at least 30 minutes trying to throw a ring attached to a string on a hook. I'm thinking Susan and Rick may want to invest in one of these great inventions.
Ben got the ring on the hook!! I love this picture!
Carson, sitting in the middle of the table.
Adam and I went to Willie T's to celebrate our 3rd anniversary, which actually happens to be today (August 18). I love you, my sexy sweetie!
I have no idea why everyone put dollar bills all over the walls, but it looked cool. I'm thinking I could make thousands of dollars by stealing their ceiling alone.
The delicious Willie T's food. I got mixed seafood pasta and Adam got chicken pot pie. Seriously incredible.
Our little family at the Southern Most Point. Cool, eh?
Carson.
It was so stinking hot. Carson was melting at the Sunset Party and it was after 7:00 pm.
Don't mind Carson. He likes to try and escape family pictures...or maybe he is trying to escape our family...
This guy was real tricky. He ate fire during the Sunset Party.
Rick put knives through a woman. Turned out she was a crazy contortionist. Also, very tricky.
The missionaries love crazy people, too! Who knew?
Another crazy at the Sunset Party.
Carson, enjoying the show.
Leaving Key West. So sad.
Everyone was getting real tired of being the car.
Probably the last time Carson smiled that day. There was a lot of crying, a lot of potty stops, and even a barf break for myself. Pleasant, I tell you.
Carson was miserable on the 1.5 hour plane ride home after the 5 hour car trip to the airport. His screaming came to a pause, though, when I gave him Ben and Olivia's picture. He stared at it for a real long time in peace. Then, the screaming began again. He misses them already.

Thank you Meyer family!
We miss you and love you SOOO much!
