Oh baby, baby.

I'm still waiting around the hospital. I had another bleed over a week ago. It was the least amount I have had, but the most scared I had been. Five nurses rushed in to check everything out, put a gown on me, and reassure me that the baby would be fine for a c-section right then. Talk of doing it then only sent me into a slight panic. I was really happy when the doctor decided since it was so little and stopped almost immediately that they would wait.
Right now, I am scheduled for an amniocentesis this coming Monday (36 weeks). I am super nervous and while I am DYING to get out of here, I want my baby to be ready, too. If the results say her lungs are developed, the c-section will be on Wednesday at 9 a.m. If they aren't, the c-section will probably be the following Monday or Tuesday (37 weeks).
We have been really taken care of. Denise, Adam's mom, drove all the way here from Georgia to help with Carson and entertain me. Susan, Adam's sister, took her place, leaving her 3 babies at home in Chicago to come watch mine. They both brought me super yummy dinners and even stocked my freezer! My mom is here now to help us. I sleep better at night knowing that Carson has had these 3 women to make him still feel special and loved while his mommy has to sit around in a hospital bed.
Hopefully my next post will be baby pictures!!!

My new home.

Adam in a mask after we had to switch rooms because of a chemical spill.
Well, I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday. Turns out my placenta hadn't moved. The doctor talked to a perinatologist who advised that I start bed rest at the hospital immediately. I told them I would come back in a few hours after I got everything situated at home.
So, I'm at the hospital for the next couple weeks. I am 34 weeks today and they are currently planning to do the amniocentesis at 36 weeks or just do the c-section at 37 weeks, granted I don't have any complications before then.
I get non-stress tests twice a day and I meet with the perinatologist for ultrasounds once a week. Our baby girl is looking real healthy and besides being extremely bored, I am fine and haven't had any more problems. We have family here with us now to help with Carson, so all is well.
